Rengsdorfer Rockfestival 2019- Programme complete

At the Rockfreunden Rengsdorf e.V. the preparations for the Rengsdorfer Rockfestival on 26./27.07.2019 (this time with DANKO JONES, Audrey Horne and Demon's Eye) are in full swing. The advance booking at all known advance booking offices (e.g. Bonnticket, ED-Tankstelle Rengsdorf) has already started. The Rengsdorf Rock Festival is entering its 39th round and is therefore one of the oldest open-air festivals in Germany. Especially in times when many small festivals fight for survival, the Rockfreunde Rengsdorf succeeds again and again in creating a nationally known, top-class festival with nationally and internationally known artists. For the Festival 2019 the Rockfreunde present the following delicacies: Friday: Demon's Eye (The Purple Rainbow Tour 2019): The best songs from the creation of two legendary mega-hard rock acts in one evening: that's what Demon's Eye offer on their "The Purple Rainbow" tour! For at least two hours, the group that performed with Ian Paice (drums) and Jon Lord (keyboards), respectively, and was highly praised by both Deep Purple icons, will present the definitive songs of Deep Purple plus various Rainbow classics from their time with singer Ronnie James Dio. Journeye (Journey Tribute Band): JOURNEYE is a German tribute band of the US-American rock band Journey and presents their timeless songs live. "Journey" are still one of the most successful and influential bands in the USA today. Hits like "Wheel In The Sky", "Any Way You Want It" and "Don't Stop Believin'" still belong in every well-assorted radio program. In their 40-year career, Journey have sold over 75 million records. On Saturday, originals dominate the open-air forest stage: Danko Jones (Canada): What makes Danko Jones so unique: letting out the much-quoted sauce, blowing riff-heavy boards through the speakers and raving across the stage like a dervish. And an irresistible mixture of blues rock over 60s garage rock, 70s hard rock or power pop, eighties hardcore, indie rock and Scandinavian metal from the 1990s plus a not insignificant portion of humour. Audrey Horne (Norway): Audrey Horne have become one of the hottest tips for hard rock fans in recent years. They are among the most sought-after groups today, with heroes like Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and above all Thin Lizzy, but also the melodic representatives of the NWoBHM proving their reference highly skilfully, freshly and without a hint of dröger patina. Motorowl (Germany): A very ambitious, young and really great band who made a short stop in Rengsdorf in 2017. Various headliner shows have turned the band into a very strong live band that can survive in front of different target groups. The style can be classified somewhere between Psychedelic Rock, Doom Metal and Stoner Rock. Moontowers (Koblenz): Moontowers could be described as a new Koblenzer (Doom Metal) Supergroup. Behind Moontowers are musicians of the bands Blueside, Metal Inquisitor, Scutor and Disaster. The band, founded in 2017, presents itself musically but completely independently and will open the Rengsdorfer Festival in 2019. Max Scheer (singer/songwriter): Max Scheer is a passionate guitarist, singer and songwriter. As frontman of the Bonn rock band "April 21st" he has also been a guest in Rengsdorf. This year he will be seen and heard during the renovation breaks on the festival grounds.
