Directions

The description of hiking trail M 3 leads us to the centre of Langenbach. Turning left, we soon follow the road to Hardt for about 300 metres. Halfway to the left, we reach the Hardter Mühle in the valley of the Große Nister. We return via Hahn to Langenbach. Below the village, uphill along the Große Nister to the left at the end of the village, a stretch of road to Großseifen and partly along the old railway line, our circular walk ends in Bad Marienberg after just under two more kilometres.

Safety instructions

Especially in autumn, be aware that leaves lying on the ground can hide bumps, roots, stones or holes in the path.

Path impairments of this kind are to be expected on every hike.

Equipment

Wear sturdy shoes and appropriate, weatherproof clothing that protects you from cold and wet or heat and sun.

Tips

A walk on the barefoot path is not to be missed! If the weather is suitable, take off your shoes and socks and walk along the different fields of the barefoot path. An experience for the senses!
