Our campsite has modern, solar-heated sanitary facilities with toilets, washing and shower cubicles, scullery, washing and drying machines. If our restaurant Am Postweiher is not open, there is a well-stocked farm shop vending machine. Child-friendliness is not just an empty word for us, but our programme. Whether on our own mini-golf course, on the two children's playgrounds (one directly on the Postweiher), pedal boating or rowing on the Postweiher or playing table tennis, the kids get their money's worth. On hot days you can enjoy the beautiful landscape at our marvellous natural beach. You can also spend relaxing days with us in winter. When it's cold outside, the lake freezes over and you can go ice skating. You are offered a wonderful, romantic winter landscape. As our campsite is open all year round, you can also spend your winter holiday with us. We have approx. 100 caravan pitches, which are permanently leased. For our transit and holiday campers we offer well-kept tent meadows and spacious pitches for guests with caravans or motorhomes. There is a supply and disposal station for motorhomes on our site. In the weekend area you will find approx. 180 weekend cottages in solid wood construction, all of which are privately owned. For visitors to the campsite and the lido we have a free car park for approx. 1000 vehicles.
Hiking huts
We offer accommodation for one night or more all year round. Only 500 metres from the Westerwaldsteig - stages 5 and 6

Two of our hikers' cabins can be booked with your own dog. The hikers' huts are SMOKE-FREE! Hikers on the European long-distance hiking trail "E1" and the Westerwaldsteig also stop off here and enjoy the accommodation on offer. All units available for rent can be conveniently booked online (also by mobile phone). Use of the showers and sanitary facilities is included. Shopping facilities: There is a butcher's shop and a bakery approx. 600 metres away in the village of Freilingen. There is also a group practice for general medicine here. There is a petrol station approx. 1 km away in the neighbouring village of Steinen. The nearest shopping centre is in Selters, approx. 7 km from the campsite.
ROOF TENT VILLAGE
One of our highlights is the "bird village" at the beautiful Postweiher pond in Freilingen. Here you can watch the numerous flocks of birds nesting in the bird sanctuary by the pond from your roof tent. The Postweiher also has a lido where you can take a refreshing dip, and the campsite has a restaurant with delicious food, a farm shop with regional products and a kiosk by the lido.
Four lovingly designed raised hides in the bird village will whisk you away to a unique bird and nature paradise. Three of them are equipped with different models of roof tents:
- Swan's nest: a romantic rooftop tent for two people, surrounded by nest material and bathed in a sea of lights in the evening.
- Peregrine falcon: a cosy roof tent for up to 2.5 people, ideal for hikers and anyone who appreciates a rustic seating area. Dogs are also welcome here (with additional service).
- Birdwatcher: Perfect for families or birdwatchers, offers space for up to three people in the ARCTA Viator Family roof tent.
- The fourth high seat is an ideal observation post for watching the birds and campers.
Other highlights in the bird village:
- A fireplace for sociable evenings
- The learning and adventure garden next to the roosts
- Activities for children: table tennis table, playground, mountain bike trail and a slide into the Postweiher pond
- A leisure area opposite the campsite with mini golf, beer garden, festival meadow and football pitch
