The castle was built between 1300 - 1330 and can be visited by appointment.

Detailed description

The castle has been extensively renovated and made accessible to the public by the Friends. The association also offers guided tours of the castle, medieval events and other cultural events as well as knights' dinners at the castle ruins. A highlight is the newly designed Walpodenstube, a cosy room with an open fireplace and space for up to 30 people.
