Eibelshausen nature adventure trail

Detailed description

This attractive adventure trail invites all visitors to marvel, discover and participate. Whether it's a barefoot path, a tree xylophone or a tree puzzle, all the senses are addressed here and young and old are encouraged to become active themselves.

The squirrel acts as a signpost and guides visitors along the approximately four kilometer long circular route. For example, you can compete with animals in the long jump, hear your own sound on the humming stone or solve a tree puzzle. Many information boards provide interesting explanations about the flora and fauna. After about half of the way you reach the highest point, the “Eierbank”, from here it goes back down into the valley after a small climb. When visiting the NABU station, which is at the end of the circular route, visitors can marvel at a “living wall”. An insect nesting wall and an active bee colony promise interesting insights.
