Overview of the cottage FachWerk

This half-timbered house is about 300 years old and has been rebuilt several times over the years. Last of us in the years 1987 and 1992. In 1987, a bathroom was installed (until then there was the so-called Plumpsklo in the stable next door), the electricity and water pipes were renewed and the truss in the interior of the house exposed. In 1992, we increased the attic floor and put a new roof truss on the house.
Most of the doors are still in their original condition and therefore not compatible with our current body size. For you, as a guest, this means that the house is demanding something of "humility" from you, so that you do not offend your head. The original is also the lower staircase, which therefore requires your full attention when walking - backwards may help and cling to cases on the railing. On the other hand, there is nothing more comfortable than a half-timbered house.
Our house is on the ground floor a kitchen and a bathroom on the 1st floor a bedroom with a double bed and a room with a single bed and in the attic studio a pull-out double bed and a dining table with six chairs.
The kitchen is fully equipped, the manuals of each device can be found in the right drawer of the dresser.
The attic studio is equipped with satellite TV, DVD player and stereo system. Here you will also find an extensive DVD collection. Reading enthusiasts, at least those guests who also like to pick up a book, will find books for young and old in the built-in wardrobe.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the house
In the annex you can leave your bikes and other belongings temporarily.
The garden hut has garden furniture and a swing grill. So you can make it comfortable somewhere in the meadow and also barbecue. ....

Travel arrangements

Arrival is, unless otherwise agreed, from 15:00 clock. Other times are possible by appointment. The keys are handed over on site. Departure is until 11:00.

Your way to us

By car / motorcycle coming from Cologne
• Take the A3 towards Frankfurt
• Take the Montabaur exit
• Follow the B49 towards Koblenz
• Follow this road until the exit Holler
• Turn right onto the L326
• In Holler follow the main road and after approx. 300 m turn right into Niederelberter Straße
• Immediately turn left into Lindenstraße
• After another 300 meters you have reached the intersection Lindenstraße / Bergstrasse
• Park your vehicle to pick up your keys in front of Haus Bergstrasse 13 (blue garage door) next to the half-timbered house

By car / motorcycle coming from Frankfurt
• Take the A3 towards Cologne
• Take the Montabaur exit
