For more than four decades now, the little Indian boy YAKARI, known from film, literature and radio plays, has fascinated children in German-speaking countries. The cheerful Indian boy is characterised by a boundless curiosity for the world and great respect for nature and all animals. As the only one in the Sioux tribe, he has the ability to talk to animals, which wins him many friends and allies among the forest dwellers. With them, his friend RAINBOW and his pony LITTLE THUNDER he experiences many exciting adventures. This time they meet the wandering hunter and warrior SPANNER BOW who is on the hunt for the white bear SNOWBALL, one of YAKARI's friends, in order to kill it and to expand his trophy collection with its fur. BUTTON demands that YAKARI lead him to SNOWBALL. As he refuses, of course, he takes YAKARI`s friend REGENBOGEN hostage to get his way. So YAKARI and his pony LITTLE THUNDER devise a plan to free RAINBOW and to teach SPANISHED BOW a lesson he will never forget. The sets and handmade characters are based on the original drawings from the animated series.
