Event
"The way is the goal", the motto of our guided convertible tours could hardly be more fitting. The couple Immig from Rennerod, themselves passionate cabriolet drivers and connoisseurs of their homeland, gave the impetus for this summer event series. They diligently collected ideas, tips and the highlights of our beautiful Westerwald and thus put together several tours that arouse the joy of exploring. Convertibles, vintage cars and other motorists who enjoy enjoying the local landscape to the full with like-minded people can take part.
The tour takes place in dry weather so that all those interested can participate.
On this "red tour" with about 100km there is a lot to see! Start and finish is the Wiesensee. From there, the route leads over the highest elevation of the Westerwald, the Fuchskaute, to Bad Marienberg and the Wildpark and Basaltpark. In the middle of the charming landscape of Kroppacher Switzerland is the venerable Marienstatt Monastery on the romantic Nister. After a stop in Hachenburg's picturesque old town, you stop off at Stöffelpark. A short guided tour provides information about the former industrial works in the Westerwald and a time when the Stöffelmaus lived here instead of the Westerwälder Basaltkopp. Back to the Wiesensee, the trail leads past the old Rotenhain Castle.
The number of participants is limited, therefore the participation is possible only with previous registration.
