A historic building. A fascinating art. Glass in its finest form to experience. The Hadamar Glass Museum brings all three aspects together. In eight rooms, the museum presents the art of local glass artists in a permanent exhibition. In the special exhibitions, new and interesting artists and their projects are presented in rotation. Discover the fascination of glass in a wonderful setting.
The Renaissance castle in Hadamar was the seat of the counts and later princes of Nassau-Hadamar. Events are held in the castle's festive Fürstensaal. It is also available for private celebrations. The Protestant church in the castle is open during church services. The glass museum is located in the former restored prince's apartment. Here you can discover the many different themes of glass art, which has a more than 70-year tradition in Hadamar, in the magnificent chambers of the former princely family.
