The Higham Ferrers Square commemorates the town partnership between Hachenburg and Higham Ferrers in England. It is a small, well-maintained square that invites both lingering and meeting.
As a symbol of the long-standing friendship between both cities, the square has been designed with loving details that remind of exchanges across borders. Seating and an open layout make it a pleasant spot in the midst of city life. For visitors, it offers a quiet, friendly stopping point during a tour of Hachenburg. The red telephone booth is a gift from the neighboring city and now represents the smallest library in the Westerwald.
