Concert by the Mainz Chamber Orchestra at Friedewald Castle
The Mainz Young String Academy is recognised as an outstanding talent factory for young musicians. Every year, around a dozen young people win first and second prizes in the Jugend Musiziert competition and the violin groups in the state and national youth orchestras would be unthinkable without their participation. The highly professional training also includes ensemble playing in small and large groups such as the chamber orchestra, which can be heard here.
Young soloists will introduce themselves and then "Four Seasons" will be performed - two by Antonio Vivaldi and two by Astor Piazzolla.
Tickets are available for EUR 12.00 per person at the box office.
The concert starts at 17:00.
Advance booking is not necessary.
The bar will be open during a break in the concert.
