The basics of orchard cultivation, the structure of a fruit tree, pruning techniques and the importance of the orchard community for nature are the topics that will be addressed on this day.
Theory and practice will be taught
All those interested in orchards and nature are invited to the TERTIÄRUM of the Stöffel Park, where the nature conservation officer of the Will and Liselott Masgeik Foundation, Dipl.-Biol. Philipp Schiefenhövel, and Marcel Weidenfeller from Nabu Hundsangen will first explain the content. After a lunch break the practical planting, education and age care cut is presented at villagenear fruit trees. To the meeting Michaela Nilius, nature protection representative of the Stöffelvereins, invites. Due to the limited number of participants, registration is necessary.
