Instrumental multi-stringedness - wrapped in driving groove in the form of organised independence - that is TA2, and much more: in the tradition of legendary fusion bands such as Return To Forever, John McLaughlin's Mahavishnu Orchestra or the Dixie Dregs, the four musicians around renowned jazz guitarist Peter Autschbach explore the boundaries of rock, pop and jazz with their skill and joy of playing.
TA2 presents its acoustic wanderings through the musical landscapes in its own recognisable group sound. The band leader's fresh and clever compositions express a wide variety of sound colours and tonal images.
The virtuoso violin playing of Marta Danilkovich gives TA2 a high recognition value, she is skilfully put in the limelight by Nico Deppisch on bass and Jordan Proffer on drums - while Peter Autschbach offers her friendly paroli with rousing solos. Bandleader Peter Autschbach is pleased to present Jordan Proffer as a band member. He met the drummer, who lives in Dallas, Texas, in Romania in 2022. Autschbach was invited to the "International Jazz-Competition Bucharest" competition as a jury member and Proffer's sensitive and virtuoso playing immediately inspired him.
