Detailed description

The Protestant parish church in Kircheib is a Romanesque three-nave basilica from the 12th century. The central nave, illuminated by small round arched windows, is opened in 3 pillar arcades each to the aisles. The sanctuary in the east is covered by a cross-vault. Looking from the sanctuary through the west tower entrance, the Große Ölberg (460 m above sealevel) of the Siebengebirge can be seen.
