The town of Höhr-Grenzhausen offers its visitors a large swimmers' pool with a 50-metre lane, separate and integrated non-swimmers' areas, a separate children's pool as well as a slide, a climbing frame and sand play areas.

In terms of numbers, visitors have access to a swimmers' area with an area of 840 m² and a water depth of 1.80 - 2.00 metres. There are two separate areas for non-swimmers, covering around 1450 square metres. For small children there is an area with a water surface of 90 m², which is supplied by its own inlet from the water filter and is emptied every evening via a floor drain. The swimming areas are barrier-free thanks to a ramp. As befits an outdoor pool, there are of course also extensive sunbathing areas available to visitors. Even though the appearance of the former swimming pond facility may have changed, the ecological aspect is still at the centre of attention: chemicals are still not used to clean the water, and the biological water treatment relies instead on cleaning with plants and granulate. During the pool season, the pool is open Monday to Friday from 10:00 - 20:00 (Monday and Friday from 13:00 due to cleaning work, special evening rate from 18:00).
