John Lennon wrote "A Hard Day's Night", one of the Beatles' most famous songs, on April 13, 1964. Exactly 60 years later, the well-known local Beatles tribute band THE PETELES (to be pronounced like "Beatles", only with a "P" in front!) is celebrating this anniversary with a concert for the cultural office Haus Felsenkeller. It starts on Saturday, April 13, at 8 pm in the large hall of the dance school "Let's Dance" in Philipp-Reis-Straße in Altenkirchen.

The band name THE PETELES comes from the fact that all four musicians are called Peter - i.e. Pete - by their first names. For the anniversary, "Pete Lennon", "Pete McCartney", "Pete Harrison" and "Pete Starr" play many of the immortal hits of the "Fab Four" from Liverpool. They also incorporate lots of entertaining information about the most important band of all time into their program. There are also a few funny anecdotes to tell about "A Hard Day's Night".

However, the original PETELES performance not only includes humor and Beatles history, but also versions of songs by the Fab Four, some of which sound rockier than we know them. In addition, the band around its founder Peter Seel incorporates all kinds of bands from rock history into their program with a wink - bands that were influenced by the Beatles or that simply stole from the Beatles...

Jimi Hendrix, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Police, U2, Metallica and Michael Jackson are quoted in the middle of the mushroom heads' classics. And --- Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! --- the four PETELES from the Westerwald are as cool as they are skillful!

THE PETELES have dedicated themselves to the songs of their legendary role models from Liverpool with heart and soul, body and soul, voice and lifeblood. In clubs and pubs, at city festivals and festivals, galas and parties all over Germany, the audience celebrated the quartet with "She Loves You", "A Hard Days Night", "Come Together", "Hey Jude" and "Let It Be". The PETELES' cheeky and cheerful party concept sweeps this cross-generational music "between original and original" right into the here and now. Far removed from dusty oldies music, the PETELES offer unpolished rock'n'roll and timeless classics: Come Together!
