You can easily reach the castle by car or train. You can park your vehicle in one of the castle's 15 car parks. There are also plenty of public car parks without parking time restrictions in the immediate vicinity of the castle.
Directions by car: A 45 (Sauerlandlinie) - exit Herborn-West, direction Herborn. At the first set of traffic lights after the town sign (Amtsgericht on the left), turn left (into Hainstr.) and follow the signs for ‘Theologisches Seminar’ to the left into Schwerstraße. Follow Schwerstr., which bends to the right, until it joins Schlossstr. (opposite you will see the health centre and a retirement home). Turn right and after approx. 100 metres turn left into Nassaustraße. The castle is on the right-hand side of Nassaustraße, our administration building is located at Nassaustr. 36 (please also enter this address in your satnav) diagonally opposite the castle.
Travelling by train: Herborn is on the Gießen - Dillenburg - Siegen railway line. From the railway station you can reach the castle on foot in 15 minutes (approx. 1 km). Taxis are available at the railway station.
